Both brands manufacture Miami-Dade NOA-certified impact products engineered for hurricane zones. Mr-Glass uses the same impact-grade glass and aluminum extrusions, with comparable or higher design pressure ratings on most product lines — without the brand premium.
Mr-Glass sells direct from our Miami factory. CGI distributes through a dealer network, which adds layers of markup. By cutting out the middlemen, we deliver equivalent or better protection at a lower installed cost.
Standard Mr-Glass orders ship in 4–6 weeks. CGI lead times during hurricane season frequently exceed 10 weeks. For Caribbean projects we coordinate freight directly to the port of entry.
Yes — and stronger. Mr-Glass offers a lifetime limited warranty on most residential impact systems, backed directly by the manufacturer instead of a third-party dealer.
